Really enjoyed this. As somebody in the public policy field and studies the structures and roles of land grant universities specifically, these are things I’ve thought about a great deal. The policies around universities and students, especially at the state level, will be incredibly important over the next ten years or so. I’m sure some will lean into the professionalization of athletics but I hope more break away and say ‘to hell with this’. Great work yall.
